The Beatles take to the street of Bergamo and Milan

On Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 June, the Beatles appeared in the streets of Milan and Bergamo, proposing the famous hits which characterised the history of the famous band. The Fab Four, wearing the costumes and masks from the famous cover of the album “Sgt Pepper’s lonely hearts club band”, published exactly 50 years ago, took to the streets together with Cal Ruddy, a famous singer from Liverpool who accompanied them, playing the most famous of the Beatles’ songs. The initiative was planned to promote flights between Milan Bergamo and Liverpool operated by Blue Air, a route which was inaugurated on 31 March.

The route allows visitors to experience the atmosphere of the city which attracts the interest of many generations, tied to the music of the Beatles and to the places which characterised an era. This year, in particular, is the sixtieth anniversary of the English band’s debut at the legendary club “The Cavern”: another reason to pay a visit!
