NEW CONNECTION BETWEEN MILAN BERGAMO AIRPORT AND KUWAIT CITY STARTING MAY 20, 2026

Jazeera Airways today announced in Kuwait City the launch of a new service to Milan Bergamo Airport, starting on 20 May. The route will be operated three times a week (Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays) using an Airbus A320neo configured with 174 seats. With the addition of Kuwait, the list of countries directly connected to Milan Bergamo continues to grow.

The announcement of the new route was made during a press conference convened by Barathan Pasupathi, Chief Executive Officer of Jazeera Airways, and attended by Amelia Corti, General Manager of SACBO; Giacomo Cattaneo, Director of Commercial Aviation, Marketing & Communications; and Dario Nanna, Commercial Aviation Manager of the company managing Milan Bergamo Airport.

“We are honoured to be the first Italian airport to welcome Jazeera Airways,” said Amelia Corti during the ceremony held in Kuwait City. “The launch of the new route to Kuwait City further expands the network of connections from Milan Bergamo Airport to emerging markets, characterised by a shared willingness to build relationships and help create new opportunities for both destinations. The start of the three-times-weekly service to Kuwait City represents a historic milestone for Milan Bergamo Airport, which is preparing both to welcome incoming passenger flows and to generate traffic towards the new destination. We are confident that our collaboration with Jazeera Airways will be successful and will lead to significant expansion in tourism, culture and commerce in both directions.”

“A prestigious and promising addition to the summer network of connections from our airport, which is shaping up to be full of opportunities,” underlined Giovanni Sanga, President of SACBO. “Above all, it is a sign of the progressive expansion of connections to geographical areas of great interest from a socio-economic, entrepreneurial, educational and cultural exchange perspective. Over the years, we have seen how new destinations have been able to trigger passenger flows attracted by the advantages offered by direct flights. In this regard, multimodal solutions are becoming increasingly important, and Milan Bergamo Airport has planned to equip itself accordingly, in order to ensure fast and comfortable mobility.”
