AEROITALIA INAUGURATED CONNECTION BETWEEN MILAN BERGAMO AND ROME FIUMICINO

Today, the air carrier Aeroitalia inaugurated the daily connection between Milan Bergamo and Rome Fiumicino, operated by Boeing B737 – 800 aircraft. The first flight took off at 7:10 a.m. for the capital’s airport, returning at 10:30 a.m. to Milan Bergamo, where it was greeted by the water arch of the Orio al Serio Fire Brigade. The inaugural ceremony took place in the departures terminal of Milan Bergamo Airport, attended by Krassimir Tanev (Chief Commercial Officer of Aeroitalia) and Emilio Bellingardi, Managing Director of SACBO.

MILAN BERGAMO AIRPORT CELEBRATES KINDNESS DAY

On Sunday 13 November 2022, Milan Bergamo Airport is celebrating World Kindness Day. This is an initiative that aims to draw attention to the values of respect and politeness, which are all the more important when expressed in the context of constant attention to people, such as in the airport setting. From 10am until 2pm, three stations will be set up in the passenger terminal, one in the airside arrivals area, one in the Schengen flight departures area and another in the area reserved for non-Schengen flights. These stations will be manned by staff in the ground handling services of SACBO Group and they will give passengers gerberas, which are a symbol of this day, as well as chocolates.

VOLOTEA ANNOUNCES A NEW EXCLUSIVE ROUTE FROM MILAN BERGAMO AIRPORT TO NANTES

Volotea, the low-cost airline serving small and medium-sized European cities, is once again announcing important news for Milan Bergamo Airport; 13 April 2023 will see the opening of an exclusive route to Nantes, which will be served with two weekly flights; on Mondays and Thursdays. The new route, which will provide approximately 24,100 seats overall, equivalent to 148 flights, joins the existing services operated by Volotea from Caravaggio Airport for Lampedusa, Pantelleria, Olbia and Oviedo (another new route for 2023) for a total of 5 destinations.

MILAN BERGAMO AIRPORT OFFERS A NETWORK OF 115 DESTINATIONS IN 39 COUNTRIES

Sunday 30 October, in line with the clocks turning back, saw the implementation of the winter schedule, which provides for a total of 115 destinations in 39 countries and represents the largest winter season programme ever offered by Milan Bergamo Airport.
The most important novelty is the arrival of the airline Aeroitalia, which from 14 November will be flying to Rome Fiumicino as well as to Catania and Bacau, and from 5 December to London Heathrow, with 189-seat B737-800 aircraft.
The Aeroitalia service to the capital offers three flights daily from Monday to Friday (departing from BGY at 7:10, 12:20 and 18:35, and from FCO at 9:20, 14:30 and 20:50), and one flight daily on Saturday and Sunday. The route to London Heathrow offers five flights per week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays. Aeroitalia’s operational programme includes four return flights per week to Catania (a destination already served by Ryanair and in certain holiday periods by Albastar), and two to Bacau, in Romania.
