EUROWINGS ANNOUNCES A NEW ROUTE LINKING MILAN BERGAMO AND HANNOVER

Hannover, the capital of the German state of Lower Saxony, is the latest destination in Germany to join the Milan Bergamo Airport network. The route will be operated, commencing on 6 May 2024, by the airline Eurowings, which has been operating flights to Düsseldorf since November 2021.

The new route connecting Hannover will serve an area of great interest for business relations and tourism, considering that more than 15% of the resident population of the German city is made up of people of Italian citizenship or origin. Eurowings, a low-cost airline belonging to the Lufthansa Group, has chosen to inaugurate the route with flights twice a week, increasing to four times a week from September.

As is already the case with the route to Düsseldorf, the flight offers a business class, and allows passengers to accumulate points for the Lufthansa Group’s Miles&More programme. Furthermore, passengers departing from Milan Bergamo Airport on Eurowings flights and who are signed up to the Miles&More Senator or HON Circle status level programmes, in addition to business class passengers and Eurowings Gold Credit-Card holders, can access the fast-track service for rapid access to security controls, as well as the HelloSky business lounge.
