ALBASTAR LAUNCHES DIRECT FLIGHTS FROM MILAN BERGAMO TO DAKAR.

Albastar announces the start of scheduled operations from Italy to Senegal, with a twice-weekly flight departing from Milan Bergamo to Dakar, operated by 189-seat Boeing 737-800 aircraft. The first connections will begin on Friday 13 May and Monday 16 May, with non-stop flights departing from Italy every Monday and Wednesday, from June until 31 October. Flight schedule from Bergamo to Dakar Every Monday and Wednesday departing from Milan Bergamo at 11:15 p.m. and arriving in Dakar at 05:10 a.m. Flight schedule from Dakar to Bergamo Every Tuesday and Thursday departing from Dakar at 06:40 a.m. and arriving in Milan Bergamo at 12:20 p.m. Flights can be purchased on the website www.albastar.es and at traditional and online travel agencies. TUIFLY MAROC RECOMMENCES OPERATIONS BETWEEN CASABLANCA AND MILAN BERGAMO

During the presentation of the summer 2022 schedule, the airline TUIFly Maroc announced the recommencement of flights between Casablanca and Bergamo, a route that was initially opened in 2019 and then suspended due to the pandemic. The route will be served twice-weekly, on Thursdays and Saturdays by a 189-seat B737- 800 from 4 June to 28 September 2022.

TRANSAVIA INAUGURATES FLIGHTS CONNECTING ROTTERDAM AND MILAN BERGAMO

Milan Bergamo Airport has welcomed the first flight arriving from Rotterdam, operated by the Transavia airline. The B737-700 operated by the low-cost airline belonging to the Air FranceKLM Group landed at 4:00 p.m. local time and was greeted with the traditional welcome water arch by the Orio al Serio Fire Brigade Division. Giacomo Cattaneo, Director of Commercial Aviation at SACBO, and Thijmen Van Schaik, Area Manager of Transavia, were present at the arrival of the new route’s inaugural flight. The route between Rotterdam and Milan Bergamo is operated by a B737-700 aircraft with 149 seats in single class, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. From 1 July to 26 August, a flight on Fridays will also be run. Transavia returns to flights at Milan Bergamo airport, where it had offered connections during the 2000s up until early 2009. Rotterdam is a totally new destination added to the network of scheduled flights offered by Milan Bergamo.

SACBO BOARD OF DIRECTORS APPROVES FINANCIAL STATEMENTS FOR 2021

The Board of Directors has approved the financial statements for SACBO S.p.A. and the consolidated group statements which include the financial statements for SACBO S.p.A. and those of the fully owned company BGY International Services S.r.l.

The continuing state of emergency caused by the spread of the COVID-19 virus had a significant impact on all management-related aspects for the Group and, inevitably, on the economic, financial and equity results in the financial statements as of 31.12.2021.

2021 could be defined as a year that ran at two different paces, with the first semester conditioned by severe restrictions introduced on a governmental level to contrast the spread of the pandemic and the second semester characterised by a decisive recovery in air traffic, which was particularly marked in airports with a higher presence of low-cost airlines and focused on domestic and continental destinations. It is no coincidence that throughout the second semester Bergamo airport saw rates of growth that were higher than the national average.
