DOPPIO EVENTO CULTURALE ALL'AEROPORTO DI MILANO BERGAMO
Negli spazi di HelloSky Lounge all’Aeroporto di Milano Bergamo (19.07 - 21.01.2024) è stato allestito lo spin-off della mostra dell’Accademia Carrara “VETTE DI LUCE”, che propone, come in museo, un dialogo tra fotografia e pittura con una selezione di immagini inedite delle Orobie di Naoki Ishikawa in dialogo con 12 dipinti di Costantino Rosa (Bergamo, 1803- 1878), parte della collezione Carrara. Viaggiatore infaticabile, Rosa si è dedicato con passione alla raffigurazione del paesaggio alpino, coniugando l’esigenza di una esatta documentazione topografica dei luoghi con la sensibilità romantica per il pittoresco e il sublime.
Contestualmente, negli spazi antistanti il gate 10 del terminal partenze Schengen trova collocazione la teca contenente la Ricostruzione del volto dell’artista Lorenzo Lotto effettuato dalla Direzione Centrale Anticrimine - Servizio Polizia Scientifica e dalla Questura di Bergamo. Un allestimento che celebra i 120 anni della Polizia Scientifica. Da un’intuizione dell’amministrazione comunale di Trescore Balneario, per celebrare i 500 anni della splendida opera di Lorenzo Lotto in Oratorio Suardi (1524), è nato il progetto finalizzato alla ricostruzione del volto dell’artista, partendo dal suo autentico autoritratto, fortemente deteriorato, presente nel grande affresco che rappresenta le quattro “Sante”, Barbara, Brigida d’Irlanda, Caterina D’Alessandria e Maria Maddalena, protettrici della famiglia Suardi. Il personale del Servizio Polizia Scientifica e della Questura di Bergamo, si sono resi conto di trovarsi al cospetto di un compito difficilissimo ma altrettanto affascinante ed entusiasmante. Credere di poter realizzare questo progetto, è stata una dimostrazione di tenacia, operosità, professionalità.

Ampliamento P1
Milan Bergamo Airport expands the capacity of the spaces reserved for the short-term parking of private vehicles to coincide with the increase in the flow of travelers departing and arriving for holidays. In addition to the P1 car park in front of the terminal, equipped with 240 spaces and free for up to 10 minutes, there is the availability of 172 spaces in the new parking area called P1 Est, accessible via a connecting roundabout and usable in the same manner.
Once you get close to the Short Stop P1 entrance roundabout, it is advisable to check accessibility and possibly, in case of congestion, turning to the right of the terminal, choose the P1 Est option, intended to facilitate flows of the cars of the companions.

Due to the airport handling strike being announced, on Saturday 15 July, from 10 am to 6 pm, some flights can suffer delays or cancellations. We recommend all customers to check the airlines websites for updates on their flight schedules.

GEORGIAN AIRWAYS HAS INAUGURATED THE ROUTE BETWEEN MILAN BERGAMO AND TBILISI
The new route, the only one offering a direct flight between Italy and Tbilisi, will run on a twiceweekly basis, every Tuesday and Friday, with a Boeing 737-700 set up with 12 Business Class seats and 121 Economy seats.
The route allows for a series of connections to destinations in bordering countries, such as Yerevan, the capital of Armenia.

ON 21 JUNE, MILAN BERGAMO AIRPORT WILL BE CELEBRATING THE FESTA DELLA MUSICA
SACBO and Milan Bergamo Airport have accepted the invitation from the Italian Civil Aviation Authority and Assaeroporti association to organise a programme of music performances that will take place in the boarding area of the terminal, beginning at 10.45 a.m. with the pianists Marco Serazzi and Elena Migliorini and the singer-songwriter Matteo Romano. At 3 p.m., the shopping plaza in front of the area leading to the security controls, will play host to the Mismountainboys, a legendary country band from the Italian country music scene.
